Running throughout the day, this free North Wales summer event showcases the outstanding conservation work taking place across the local area. Visitors can enjoy fascinating drop-in talks from wildlife experts covering ospreys, red squirrels, conservation grazing and local habitats while learning about ongoing environmental projects.

Taking place between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Saturday 25th July, the Welsh Mountain Zoo Artisan Market combines shopping, wildlife and family entertainment in one fantastic day out.
More than 50 artisan stalls will showcase handmade crafts, artwork and quality Welsh produce across the zoo, giving visitors the chance to discover unique gifts while enjoying demonstrations and having the opportunity to see the inhabitant animals. The day also features informative keeper talks, delicious street food vendors and full access to the zoo’s incredible collection of wildlife which encompasses over 60 different species.
Children can enjoy the adventure playgrounds while families explore one of North Wales’ leading attractions, making this event an excellent choice for visitors of all ages. Snowdon Guided Walking Tour – Llanberis (25th July 2026)
For visitors wanting to experience the breathtaking beauty of Snowdon safely with experienced guides, the Snowdon Guided Walking Tour on Saturday 25th July offers an unmissable opportunity.
Starting at 8:45am from Llanberis, this professionally guided walk follows the quieter Maesgwm Valley before joining the Ranger Path to the summit. The return journey follows the Llanberis Path, allowing walkers to experience two of the mountain’s most distinctive routes in a single day.
Qualified local mountain leaders manage all navigation and group safety throughout the walk, making the experience suitable for a wide range of abilities and fitness levels. Children aged ten and above are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian, provided they have similar walking experience and are up for the challenge.
The group aims to reach the summit around lunchtime before returning to Llanberis before 5:00pm, leaving plenty of time to celebrate with tea, cake or even an ice cream in the village afterwards.
1960s Weekend at Llangollen & Corwen Railway – Llangollen & Corwen (1st – 2nd August 2026)
History comes alive during the Llangollen & Corwen Railway’s hugely popular 1960s Weekend, running from 9:00am until 6:00pm across Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August.
The entire railway line transforms into a living museum celebrating the decade of British Rail modernisation. Visitors will encounter period re-enactments, live music, heritage displays, vintage vehicles, working demonstrations and themed exhibitions spread across stations including Llangollen, Berwyn, Glyndyfrdwy, Carrog and Corwen.
Passengers travelling aboard the heritage trains will find volunteers dressed in authentic period clothing alongside themed announcements and interactive performances that recreate the atmosphere of railway travel during the much loved 1960s era.
Saturday evening also features a special 1960s Dance Night complete with live entertainment, a DJ, hot food and evening train services. This is a North Wales summer event that train enthusiasts and those who have an interest in history will not want to miss.
The Paint Club at Torello Lounge – Prestatyn (10th August 2026)
Artistic visitors can enjoy a relaxing evening at Torello Lounge in Prestatyn on Monday 10th August between 7:00pm and 9:00pm as The Paint Club hosts one of its popular painting parties.
Designed for beginners and experienced artists alike, the event provides everything needed to transform a blank canvas into a unique piece of artwork.
