This is a popular fishing destination and also a great spot for a family day out at the beach during the summer months. You can enjoy a coastal stroll here with your four legged companion, with Gimblet Rock having a pet friendly lodge in Pwllheli so that no member of the family needs to be left out from the fun.

Alternatively you can take the short walk along Pwllheli promenade into the main town and enjoy the many traditional seaside attractions. These include seaside amusement arcades, play areas for children, a choice of cafes, bars & restaurants and a number of gift shops.

If you are staying in one of our Pwllheli lodges with children, then we’d strongly recommend a visit to the nearby Glasfryn Parc. There is something for all ages here with a fun outdoor water park, splash zone, outdoor go-karting circuit and indoor ten-pin bowling alley. Those fancying something a little more cultured can instead pay a visit to Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery which showcases the works of acclaimed Welsh artists such as Kyffin Williams and Wynne Jenkins in a stunning gothic manor house.
