Gimblet Rock Named Holiday Park of the Year

Pario Holiday Parks newest location crowned “Holiday Park of the Year” at the Go North Wales Tourism Awards

We are delighted to announce that Gimblet Rock Holiday Park, part of the Pario Holiday Parks family, has been awarded Holiday Park of the Year at the Go North Wales Tourism Awards ceremony held on 20 November at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.

This prestigious accolade recognises excellence in tourism hospitality, outstanding guest experience, and a steadfast commitment to providing a top-tier holiday destination in North Wales.

This award also marks the first time that a family run holiday group has won Holiday Park of the Year twice – Pario Holiday Parks have celebrated this win before with their flagship park Marine Holiday Park back in 2021!

The Judges Comments

The judges at the Go North Wales Tourism Awards said “With spectacular coastal views and premium facilities, Gimblet Rock Holiday Park offers the ultimate holiday experience. Whether relaxing by the water or exploring the local area, guests can enjoy a perfect balance of comfort, adventure, and natural beauty. Congratulations to Gimblet Rock Holiday Park on this fantastic achievement!”

Thanks to Our Team

This achievement is a testament to the hard work and passion of the Gimblet Rock Holiday Park team, whose dedication to hospitality and guest satisfaction has been unwavering. Directors Paris Blackwell and Rio Williams joined Park Manager Caroline Jones to collect the award alongside the wider Pario team.

The Rock pop up restaurant has proved to be exceptionally popular with holiday home owners, holiday guests and locals alike. We were thrilled to have Phil & Sarah Dougherty of Dougherty & Allen join us to celebrate too.

What’s Next for Team Pario?

Winning the Holiday Park of the Year award is not the end of the story — it marks the start of a new chapter of ongoing improvement and innovation. At Gimblet Rock we are now planning to enhance our outdoor-space, and continue refining our accommodation to ensure every stay is as special as possible.

At our other parks Pario is focused on a programme of enhancement across our facilities –

At Marine Holiday Park our team is striving to become more sustainable with updated recycling facilities being built in Winter 2025.

It’s going to be a very exciting year at Tan Rallt Holiday Park & Spa, with a complete spa refurbishment in the works. Our new Spa, Wellbeing and Fitness Centre will be open in Spring 2026.

Thank you to the Go North Wales Tourism Awards organisers and to our guests, team and community for making this possible.

Here’s to many more great holidays ahead!
